` bugs are meant for eating

so it seems to be at kingsfood restaurant at market square, i should've brought along my camera, forgotton.... sigh

went there to eat, ordered 2 dishes - 1 noodle soup and 1 kinda like kuay teow.. they were both fine.

before eating them, we took soup, cos there is free soup at the counter... the soup looked greenish and i was skeptical as i took it..

i took one sip, H took another sip.. then i saw these floating black things inside, i thought its just u know..... flavouring or powder, then i saw black things wit WINGS.. then i started to get curious and i peered deeper into the soup.. and yes, so many mANYyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy bugs floating in the soup!!! OMFGoodness, i was distraught and plain DISGUSTED........... how can a restaurant serve that?!??!?! i kept looking in the soup for more bugs, and yes, more bugs is what i found...

totally grose, and totaly put me off dinner altogether, couldnt eat much in the end.

i then told the lady,

" um, just want to let you know there are bugs in your soup, which means there is bugs in that big soup bowl on the counter".

"oh ok" ( NOT MUCH REACTION AT ALL)

i just kinda kept explaining there are bugs in the soup, but she dint really seem to care, although she did take the soup and no sorry or anyhting and went to the big soup bowl and asked the guy to clear the bugs inside.. which i thought would mean, THROWING THE SOUP AWAY....... but nope, nope, it meant just taking a ladel and clearing the BUGS away, leaving the soup for others to take............... i was like ehmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm thats grose lah...... totally unhygenic and disgusting...............

i can tell you,

that will be the LAST time i ever go there.......... i rather starve than eat there again.

sometimes, asians are just disgusting and dont care about all this hygene stuff.. they are rude too, biased, treating all the ang mo's wit niceness, dignity and respect, asking how can i help you, and thank you and just a minute and smiles. for us asians its just "u ready to order"? ok. "have u finsihed"? TABLE b5 is done!
