Every week lifegroup comes, and sometimes once a month, we have duties to do, ie: communion, praise and worship, ra di ra di ra...
this week is praise and worship!, i just want to say to YYM, that its great serving together with you, thank you for your flexibility, your awesome piano playing skills, haha and the many laughs we have during practice..... wahooo!
at the end of the day, i strongly believe, its not about the easiness or the difficulty of the songs you pick to sing to God, but indeed the heart in which you are worshipping Him in... it is pointless to choose hard songs, but yet cant sing them or your hearts not there. to me, it always goes way deeper than the song, but indeed i want to experience the presence of God fully during praise and worship....
i feel that praise and worship is where i can get close to God and how i desire to have that deeper relationship wit Him, that every day relationship with Him, not just a once or twice a week shindig, but an every day thing. i think sometimes in life we become too complacent and then we forget God in the good times, and only remember Him in the bad times.... but we should remember Him at all times!
but anyway, its great serving together with you, and i look forward to more of it!!!!!!

` malaysianisation.malaysianised.malaysians BOLEH!
Well, i dont really know if 'malaysianisation' is even a word, but if its not, it now is!
Throughout my 4 years here in brisbane, i dont know why but i've always been attracted in making friends with malaysians - yes malaysians. not that i one day suddendly decided oh, im going to go and get to know all the malaysians there are in brisbane and become close friends with them. no no no!
Before i came to brisbane, i really had no idea malaysian people existed.. (well i did, but i didnt really have any close malaysian friends what so ever 5 or 6 years ago). but acutally my perception of malaysians were malays.. i never knew there were like chinese people i thought they were all those burnt toasted brown malays. little did i know hey...
i dont really know what attracted me to them, as i think and ponder about most of my friendships in my life, half of my close if not all of my close friends are malaysians....
all the malaysian homies i met throughout my time here on earth:

if i missed any one out, sorry loh. haha my apologies, but i cant think of any one liao.... anyway all these people have made an impact in my life some way or another, and half if not all are my very close frends, some are bestest friends of mine....=).
i dont know why im so attracted to them, but honestly malaysian people are so down to earth, genuine, friendly, funny, loving, caring, giving, and i dont know, i just click with them. they are the coolest, bestest breed of the human kind on planet earth! haha who knows why i am drawn to them, its something i am yet to figure out my self.. but as for now i know that malaysian people are great, and malaysia is great. i love malaysia!
but......................
i must clarify one thing, is that i did not or have no intention to want to be a malaysian! surrounded by them, i leeched on to their langauge , their terms, and i also became fascinated by the bahasa that they spoke and used, i was like wow, chinese people, so geng can also speak fluent malay?! haha, i find it very cool wo!!! siao as i may be, i really think it is radical.. haha i'm still me, the confused girl from singapore nz and australia... singanzaussie.
i guess its important who you surround your self with, cos other people's language, habits, traits rub off on to you some way or another....
but i can truly say,
malaysians, boleh!!!

my FIRST ever encounter with a malaysian, would have to be no other than, Hannah ong! haha, how funny, 4 years ago, we were like strangers, and now she is one of my best frends...

` all about nothing
i really hate mosquittos, and all the creepy crawly bugs there are out there.
last night a huge huge spider ran from wall to wall, and it had to die, it must die, any bug that enters the house must die. theres no mercy spared for them, because they are undeserving of life they are undeserving to live togehter with humans!!!!! they cause destruction in the house...
im thinking to buy an electric insect killer, so that i can just zap them all dead.
i really hate all kinds of insects big or small, they scare the crap out of me.... i have an insect fear, big big insect fear.
last month in december there was a huge ugly lizard in my room, my gosh, if it was still there i woudlnt be sleeping in the room till today. thank goodness it was killed and destroyed.
these ugly mosquittos have been biting me for the past week, maybe its the insect kingdom trying to get back at me for killing all those moths, cockroaches, spiders, lizards and flies.... sigh well it has attacked my arms, my hand even, and in my upper thigh.. WHERE NEXT u small little bum???? haiz, i hate to make more scars on my body there is already enough of scarring to last me a lifetime....
call me a killer if you may, but really i just can't stand those bugs!!!!
i watched oprah today as i was eating my yummy healthy sanga at home and it was about sleeping disorders, can u imagine that people sleep and EAT at the same time?! apparently its a very very huge thing in the usa.... where people are sleeping and actually eating at the same time?! and they put on heaps of calories throughout the night at least 2000+.. man maybe thats whats been happening to me.... i hope not!!! cos i always dream weird things. but its amazing that people can still eat while sleeping, that is just ........ crazy
i had the most emo weekend ever, it was very challenging to get back to work today too.
why cant i just be an emotionless person... garrrrr.
cut out my brain, disect it to pieces, please remove my ravage feelings and emotions and make me an emotionless being.

` bleh....
Firstly,
happy australia day and happy chinese new year. (How funny that they are on the same day this year)
i have formed a certain dislike towards stingy people. i dislike people who are calculative, and who don't know the meaning of sharing. As a strong believer of giving is better than receiving, i shoo all those stingy people out of my life - you are definatley not wanted or needed.
money spent, is money earnt back in time.
time on earth is not long, so lets spend wisely and spend generously too!
i don't want to be a person who takes things for granted, whehter it been a job, or people. i think it is very easy to take people for granted. especially if you see them often, know that they are there, how do we not take people for granted.. i dont know to to be honest, but i think telling them you love them and appreciate them and remembering their strengths and the memories you share/d together is a good start.
i dislike people tat are all talk and no action. they can eat shit. say for wat? say only if you're going to carry out your actions.. if not, shut up.
i get furious when people are so nice to you in front of your face but then are saying all this bad stuff about you to your friends.. i mean wat the???? those are the people i wish i could shoot if i had the chance 8-). I've encountered a severe case of this. someone who loves to analyze people and thinks they know every single thing about them just by reading a book?!?!??! continue wit your book.... hope it brings you far in your analyzing..an inconsistent waste of existance.
liar liar, so many liars out there. lying about everything. lies will catch up with you in the long run. dont feel guilty meh? u should, u really should. lying is a strong disease. i think its incureable. once a liar, always a liar.
i think generally im an angry and emotional person. i try my best to hold it in, so that i dont eject my anger on others, but at times i really feel peeved off at the world.
today, the guy at cotton on was 'trying' to be funny. telling me the top i bought costs 122.50... and trying to ask me to buy more clothes and trying to tell me the till has no change to give me and trying to ask me to help him go change the money for him.. of cousre i had no response cos my brain could not process wat to say on the spot!!!!! but man hes a such a loser. just wanted to buy my top and get outta there but then no he had to try to be funny to me.
oh and landmark had the LONGG----EST queue i had ever seen; ever !!!!!! so many people wanted to eat yum char today.. booked, also needed to wait half an hour to get a seat! sheesh! they must've made at least $500,000 today. rich bastards.
no ang pow's yet, or no ang pow's this year.
it's going to be a long and sad year.

` A friday night in Brisboring
Today, i ran around and helped the needy....

the korean encounter was tasty, and with alot of meat. i did control my self by not eating TOO Much... i didnt eat much rice, just like 2 mouthfuls then we had heaps of meat left over so i took it home to eat for the day tomrrow.. haha...

haha, not really, kinda though.
first, met up with ms YL and had dinner at Goong, a korean restaurant in sunnybank hills, wit a really hot waiter, and i kept saying 'thanks' to him and he kept saying thanks too and smiled.. wooohooo, he is rellyyy hot!
some pics from our korean encounter...

In conclusion to this korean dinner, i had a pleasant time wit my watier, whom i asked 2 or 3 times to help change the hot plates on our bbq, and asked for side dishes, and indeed he was very willing. I really do think koreans are such lovely people, gentle and polite in nature.. just not in dramas, they always yell and fight and are very violent in them!
i will not have bbq again, as i realised after tonight:
a) its not feasible - its too pricey, for cooking your own meat!
b) it takes too long to cook, you end up cooking rather than eating and by the time you're done cooking your alll sweaty and have no more mood to eat
c) its too sweaty!
d) I just want to eat, dont want to wait and wait for meat to be cooked, then realising its not cooked wen its half way in my mouth, and having to spit it out, or throw it back on again for longer!
That is the end of me and korean bbq, but for me and the other korean food there is and the waiter, i'll def be back next week ;)
After the food, went to the airport to pick up julie's bro to send him to the international terminal. little did we know, he had a friend with him that he did not tell us about and she was stayin over in brisbane wit NO BOOKED ACCOMMODATION........................... (STRESSSSSS!!) as a planner myself, a avid planner, to come to a place wit no accommodation is suicide.. i would never ever do that. aiyah, its so unreliable and iresponsible.. then of cousre we had to help her find a place. inside i was boiling.....i was thinking to my self.....wat the hell wat the heck do i have to, i dont even know her why should i. HAIZ.... then i kesian her lah.. so brought her to the closest motel and help her check in. show some compassion shim... but sometimes i really can't show compassion for those who lack to help themselfs in the first place. but after my heart softened a bit, it was all ok...
well thats my charity work for the year!!!
after tat i drove to carseldine sat at yean liis place and did some weird exericse on their humungous cheap machine tat i love! and then drove all the way back to south side....
check out the cool macho machine:
man, from north to the south, its really really far.
i hate north side. hate it.

` Bride Wars

Last night, i went to see the above movie, 'bride wars'. It is rated probably PG, with not many swear words, not much sex, pretty much a movie that even a 5 year old could watch.
To be honest, i thought it would be one of those chic flicks, even though i love chic flicks but sometimes well ALL THE TIME they are so predictable.... but this one, was yes predictable but had a moral to the story at the end.. throughout the movie i laughed, and i even had a bit of a tear come to my eye at the end.... which is bizzare, cos its very hard for me to cry in a movie.
A side note, i have watched 3 movies wit YY, and in each movie, she has cried in every single one of them.... hahahahha (next time i'll provide a box of tissues k)
Bascially the movie is about 2 best friends who have known each other for like 20 years (since child hood) and their dream is to get married in June at the Plaza. they are all grown up now of course, one is a lawyer, one is a school teacher. They both happen to get engaged around the same time, practically the same day?! and decide they both want june weddings in the plaza... they then book thier june weddings and the wedding planners receptionist accidentally makes it on the same day....... thats when all hell breaks loose and the 2 best frends become worst enemies, they fight and they do all sorts of evil stuff to each other so that the other wouldn't be able to have a happy wedding. IE: sending heaps of chocolate to make one fat, tanning in a tanning salon turned into a brightttt orange, etc.... anyway i guess everyone can guess the ending so i'll not even bother to say it.
But what i learnt from this movie, is not about the special bond between husband and wife, but it's also discovering yourself and who you are as a couple with your other half. sometimes we may have been dating that someone for a long time, and fell in love wit them 10 years ago, but things change, things and people evolve, you want different tings, your values, thoughts, and way of doing life is different, your no longer matching. romance dies.
life is not all just about boyfriends and husbands. i think we as girls, also long for that best friend to share everything with, to whine, to complain, and to share good and bad news, life would not be complete if we only had our bf's and/or husbands... i think we would be really bored. i think its very important to have close friends / best friends.
i always ask my self do i have those bestest frends that i could just ring up and cry to, laugh to and share all my crap with. - and yes i do, i have a few to choose from! haha, so i am really honoured and happy to have the special bond of friendship wit each and every one of them.
I love my close friends alot, no matter where they may be in this world, they are always there to talk wit me, cry wit me, listen to me, be emo with me and just be there. for that im ever grateful and thankful to have them in my life.
getting married without any best friend would be unseen, unheard of, unsightly
and plain disgusting....

` A new year, A new Blog
I have finally decided to blog again.... which is a revelation in itself, acutally you can thank melly for that, persuaded me to start blogging again, and OH, the resurfacing of my 1998 Diary from high school, omg i cant believe i still kept it after all this while and to read all the rubbish i wrote......
But i think this time around its a bit different, its a more personal one, where i just wana vent, scream, be happy, be depressed, be emo, all in a blog without having to be under the scrutiny of others and thier lousy opinions and comments.... so to those who wanna give lousy comments, stuff you.
I apologise now for bad language used, sexual references made and anything that may offend anyone, its kinda my blog right. so just let me be.
as you can see to the right of my blog are fellow bloggers, to be honest i thought i'd have much more friends that blogged (Close ones anyway, cos i couldnt be bothered to put those kinda stranger friends in) but i guess 90% of my friends are not bloggers at all, they are callers, sms'ers and writers by hand.... so i ended up with 3 people just! haha, how wonderful.
as for the beginnning of this ugly year, comes to beginning of this not so ugly blog.... fingers crossed that i will:
a) continue to blogggggg
b) continue to bloggggg all year
c) continue to blog for a very long time to come and
d) all of the above.
i am so lazy to blog to be honest, but i think since i am so free (living in the most boring city in the world), i may as well, right.......... and i also think it's a good way to improve my very very deteriorating english skills and grammar! i cant spell properly now, i cant form good sentances, and my english just plain sucks..... I would like to thank the greatttttttttt malaysian friends who have influenced me, that have surrounded me with their ever so cool malaysian english lah!!hhahahaa jokes, not you guys fault at all, I am to blame, fully.
This year, i hope to get a pay rise, to loose 8Kg, to exericse till i die, to save more money, to develop and deepen my friendships wit frends, to make more frends, and last but not least most importantly to deepen my relationship with God and to stop backsliding...
