` I miss brisbane

although i live in brisbane itself, i miss the city every now and then... as we all know brisbane is such a huge place, and i live a good 30 mins drive away from it, (which is KINDA neear i guess) haha but when u dont really have a need to go to the city often, well you just dont go.... go to just stare at the city meh?

anyway ever since i started working in sunnybank hills, living in acacia ridge, and all my frends and family been in the south side of brisbane, why the heck would i need to ever step foot in the city again? yes it is true, i have become a city dweller, to a country bumpkin. haha, i hardly ever go to the city, the last time i went was on boxing day. and now it's february and i havent been. last year i didnt go to the city at all, my first time was when PL came.

funny to think that i used to live IN the city, roamed the city every night, and surroundings........... oh i really miss it so much....i miss walking along the riversdie, staring at the river , the bridge and the people. i miss walking to queen st mall to meet people for coffee or dessert... i miss walking to hungry jacks and eating their burgers.. i miss been able to forget i bought something and run down to the 7/11 (which was only 1 min walk from where i lived) , i miss how everything was so convenient, even uni which i dint go often, but i could walk there in 15 mins, or if i was lazy catch the free loop. i miss meeting my frends for lunch on their lunch breaks. i miss the big tall buildings. i miss copenhagen icecream. i miss the crazy buskers in queen st mall, i miss the yum char, next to subway. i miss the myer centre. i miss bubble tea at easy way in queen st mall, i miss big w and woolies in macarthur central. i remember the FIRST ever time i moved to Tank st, i was liivng wit JE, JU and CL. haha we pushed the trolley all the way back with all our groceries. those were the days. i expereinced many good times in that apartment on 30 tank st. i met nearly all my closest frends during that time in tank st. I miss tank st. i miss the building, the apartment, the balcony which i sunbathed on, hung my clothes out, got drunk in, laughed in, cried in. did just about everything in. i miss those friendships that were made, how i wish to turn back time to relive all those happy moments.
